Pre-Law National and Regional Associations (APLAs):  PLANC is the national pre-law advisor organization.  There is a national PLANC conference every four years (coinciding with Presidential Election years).  Besides NAPLA, other regional pre-law advisor groups include:

The NAPLA Law Locator, hosted by Boston College is a handy tool to help students see where they might be competitive applicants based on their GPA and LSAT scores. (.pdf version) (online version)

NAPLA produces a handbook for pre-law advisors (NAPLA Handbook 4th edition) and a NAPLA Pre Law Guide to help with the basics of the job.  The Pre-Law Advisors National Committee also has a “roles and responsibilities” guidebook that may be helpful.
