The 2017 NAPLA Conference will be held Monday, June 12th through Thursday, June 15th in Pittsburgh, PA. This page includes information to aid in planning for the conference. Check back periodically, as updates will be added to this page regularly.
Based upon feedback received in recent surveys, we have made efforts to shorten the length of the annual NAPLA conference to three days. After much work, we have managed to pack the base conference program into three days without losing any of the programming you have come to expect from the conference. Below is the tentative conference schedule. This schedule is still a work in progress, so check back for updates to the schedule over the coming months.
Veteran pre-law advisors should plan to arrive in time for the Welcome Lunch, scheduled for 12:00 on Tuesday, June 13th and should plan for the conference to conclude by 5:00 on Thursday, June 15th. New pre-law advisors who will be taking part in the New Advisor Training should plan to arrive by approximately 1:00 on Monday, June 12th for the beginning of New Advisor Training.
Veteran pre-law advisors arriving on Monday, June 12th will be invited to attend the Evening Activity, as well. The evening activities for both Monday and Tuesday will be announced in the coming weeks, and they will be events you will not want to miss!
For those of you who are interested in exploring Pittsburgh before or after the conference, a list of various activities and things to see will be included in your conference registration information.
